The team, specialising in premium printed advertising, uses state-of-the-art ROLAND Eco-Solvent and UV printers to deliver exceptional colour accuracy and quality on every substrate, from paper to special textiles.
However, the high-quality production process also posed a serious professional challenge, as the use of various inks and synthetic films inevitably releases pungent odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Flashdesign Kft.'s management was looking for an air purification solution that could not only neutralise odours and pollutants extremely effectively but also fit fully with the company's commitment to sustainability. Other key criteria were low maintenance, minimal replacement of consumables, and a compact, attractive design that would fit both the dynamic workshop and the office area.
To eliminate airborne pollutants, Flashdesign Kft. finally introduced AirQuality Technology's wall-mounted PSA series micro-plasma deodorising system. This advanced solution uses high-density micro-plasma combined with high-airflow, energy-saving DC motors to rapidly break down hazardous gases such as formaldehyde and VOCs. One of the biggest advantages of the efficiency-oriented PSA series is that it operates without consumables, so it produces no secondary pollution or unnecessary waste. Its quiet performance and safety-focused design allow work in its immediate vicinity, while the micro-plasma not only removes odours but, with a 99.99% disinfection rate, guarantees a continuously sterile and healthy environment for staff.
