This electronic air purifier for air handling units can be installed in the return duct of positive-pressure heating, cooling, ventilation and fresh air systems (e.g. in an air handling unit that mixes fresh and recirculated air). Ambient temperature: –15…60 °C, relative humidity: < 90%. It removes particles as small as 0.01 µm in diameter from the air passing through it. It connects to building management via a volt-free signal output.
Instead of a conventional bag filter
Replaces the bag filter of the air handling unit's medium filtration stage: low air resistance, high efficiency. Can also be installed in a duct.
Stable power supply
Stabilised power supply with overcurrent protection; automatic voltage compensation for maximum efficiency.
Protects the air conditioning system
High dust separation efficiency prevents the air handling unit from clogging and the resulting loss of efficiency.
Energy-saving
Low air resistance reduces fan energy consumption.
Building management
Dual signal output: the volt-free cleaning and fault contacts can be connected to the building management system.
Technology
Corona discharge ionisation in a stable, effective cleaning range. According to the manufacturer, 99.95% pure tungsten wire: flexible, well tensioned, high-strength and heat-resistant. The air gap at the joints of the ionising boxes prevents interference between electric fields; the flat, burr-free aluminium plates operate without arcing.
